I am not dead

Ok, just a very short post to let everyone know I am still kicking. I am not dead!!!!

I've put much thought into what to do with my blog. It was built as an adventure blog.....I no longer have adventure. I am [this] close to deleting the blog but haven't yet had the nerve to do it. Too many of my nonsense posts would be lost forever. I do enjoy going back and reading them. Laughter is a great medicine.

Have ya ever had a case of migraine depression? It's a depression that will just not go away. That's where I'm at. Nothing matters to me, not even my health. Although I really don't want to kick the bucket just yet.

Much to do with my depression has to do with "it's cold in Georgia" and not being able to do the things I want to do. I know, sorry excuse, but that's all I got. I can no longer go outside to sit on the deck sip'n up a cup....and it ain't even winter yet.

Health wise, I'm do'n pretty good. Got a pain in my lower back what ain't supposed to  be there, but I can live with it. Lung issues are bout the same, or maybe a little worster. I faithfully take my puffer meds every day. The stomach issues seem to be all repaired.

I did go out to the shop a month or so ago an' do me a little project. Ya see, I was all worried bout what them birds gonna eat during the winter....so's I builded a neat little bird feeder.

An' then I got to think'n, how them birds gonna keep warm? So's I builder a fireplace for 'em.

I are a stone mason.....yeee ha
The birds are happy. But, blue jays bump their heads on the porch roof. Since this pic was taken, the bird feeder has been lowered to the top of the chain link fence. They like it better there and now I can see it from inside "da house". So I like it better too.

I ain't gonna make ya no promises on when I'll make another blog post, but I rekon I'll still do another sometime. "When Billy Bob, we need to know"?

About your phone call Louie. I listened to you talk to me and I tryed to answer, but my phone does not transmit what I say.....no sound or what ever ya wanna to call it. Then it went black, all the pretty lights turn slap off. I ain't yet took it in for repair. A repair was made to the power cord (charger) where it was chewed up. Two days ago my phone ring. I says what the hell....an' I says "hello". The freak'n thing works.  Ha Ha, end of story.

Ok, "yo mama" come down for a visit. Cut'n this short. See ya another time.

  1. NOOOOO - Don't delete your blog - You don't know me, but I have read your blog for ages - there are lots of adventure blogs out there - yours is random fun crap - which is a breath of fresh air - yes I started reading yours as we are preparing to full-time, but continue to read and randomly look back at your old stories just cause you make your life sound like a great story - not always perfect but a wonderful life... Wishing you well.

  5. Good you are still around. I won't ever hold my breath about you again though. Your readers were very concerned about your absence. Too sad you never reply to comments. That's a polite part of the game. Your blog was tops while it lasted.

  7. Ah. Peace before Christmas. Was gonna be a big ol black cloud hanging over if we hadn't heard from Billy Bob. Maybe being with your family will lift your spirits a little? I hope. Knowing that we care about you oughta help a little bit, too. I hope you will feel like blogging once in a while. You are not alone in being stuck, you know? But being stuck is better if you talk to other folks in similar situations. Take care of you.

  16. Well, "Hallelujah" as Leonard Cohen used to sing. Good to know you are again among we-the-living. I see a lot of hard work in that birdhouse. Fine and perfect, BB. Cure away that depression, go south to Texas as Louie suggests, find yourself a buddy or two, a lady friend too. Need to take my own advice. Heard of your temps being the same somewhere in Texas. Same here, in the 30s too often for my blood

  17. hi BB. you know that if you need adventure in your live to be able to make your blogging posts , well if i came to get you , you would kill 2 birds with one stone , you would get away from the extreme georgia cold and you would have a lot of travel adventurous things to write about . not to mention the bat you will have to buy to fend off all the rich lonely ladies that want to get to know you and take good care of you . and if that is not enough adventure we can go traveling south to cancun , acapulco .

  18. Glad to hear you aren't dead. I missed you. If you can't find something new to post just tell us stories about your past. You can go back further than your RVing years to find the good ones and we'll be happy with that. You tell stories that make us laugh and that's a good thing. I will always treasure the term "husband in law". :)

  19. hi BB. when is the last time you ate a real authentic mexican meal from the real Mexico ? you know very well that you can not get real mexican food in sinton or corpus christi texas or georgia , you know to get real mexican food that i know you love, you have to go to Mexico. so that alone would give you lots to write about and take lots of pictures also . and don't you worry about the border patrol . last friday i just spend the whole day driving around from matamoros to reynosa mexico i covered approx, 100 miles in mexico with 2 very beautiful classy ladies and they did not have any identification at all and they are mexican americans and we were detained for about 15 minutes and then we were on our way home . of cource the border patrol agent gave those girls the same speech that they gave you years ago . you remember ? they tried to scare them . they can never stop an american citizen from coming home , the most they can do is detain you until they verify you are who you say you are . but that would make for a good adventurous story to write in your blog . after all BB. you are a red neck and red necks are FEARLESS !
