I love traveling in it, but if you don't have heat or air conditioning, it can be BRUTAL!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03178137115857245301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169314107796334970.post-43168420090882828762013-01-16T17:02:55.138-06:002013-01-16T17:02:55.138-06:00I usually switch the two AC units to heat and if I...I usually switch the two AC units to heat and if I am not plugged into shore power, I run the generator. Since it is up front and the bedroom is in the rear, it doesn't bother me. If it gets too cold, I turn the furnace on so that the basement gets heated along with the water tanks. My old RV had tank heaters.Dizzy-Dickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14150939928800538404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169314107796334970.post-83181259123180357092013-01-16T16:21:12.190-06:002013-01-16T16:21:12.190-06:00I like having cash on hand too, and you're rig...I like having cash on hand too, and you're right about all those $1 bills taking up too much room. Makes it seem like you have lots of money, but maybe you don't. They are handy for the Salvation Army at Christmas time as well as the homeless vet standing on most street corners.Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169314107796334970.post-55501001205015026072013-01-16T14:28:00.305-06:002013-01-16T14:28:00.305-06:00Hey Billy-Bob if you boondock that much have you e...Hey Billy-Bob if you boondock that much have you ever thought about just hanging one more propane tank and about 75 gal more of water????Joeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07850491334265857432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169314107796334970.post-58454390127677017542013-01-16T14:11:28.606-06:002013-01-16T14:11:28.606-06:00Love that Mr. heater, sure does the trick, and is ...Love that Mr. heater, sure does the trick, and is safe as long as do it right.our awesome travelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13031755671050584629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169314107796334970.post-22492336533554504992013-01-16T12:57:22.054-06:002013-01-16T12:57:22.054-06:00Not to doubt your 70% plus efficiency rating, but ...Not to doubt your 70% plus efficiency rating, but all my research is at best 60% for furnaces. As for Mr Buddy and catalytic heaters, a 1" opening in more than enough for fresh air. If you turn the furnace off at night like the other heaters, it will not run your batts down either. Current design RV furnaces run at a little over 70% efficiency. As BB says do your own research and choose what you feel is correct.Barney, The Old Fat Manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14242837062100545160noreply@blogger.com
