Ya don't see nuttin but exit signs.
Ha, if'n ya drive the speed limit, 10 days to cross Texas is bout right....with a few stops along the way. I know lots of RV'ers that drive 300 to 400 miles a day. Then they complain their trip took too long to get to their point B. Ha ha, then they sit outside in a lawn chair an' don't "do nuttin". Look out Walmart an' rest areas, here come the Billy Bob. That's 6 hours with my stops along the way.
Only museums I'm interested in are out west. Old cowboy stuff. But, old tractor museums would be nice too. Art, statues, flower vases an' stuff like that.....no way. I'm a country boy ya know. In an RV I'd probably do even less. That does leave a lot of sitting-around time though, and I am not interested in visiting local museums and sights. You can make the drive if you do it in pieces. Maybe 250 miles a day, with stops in the middle of those? Once you get the drive over with, you won't be dreading it so much! I guess you don't want Robert to come help you out? You said you're scared of his driving. Well, do like I do when I'm scared. Cover your eyes---don't look. That big ole drivers seat is comfy, but you still got to get up now and then. Maybe you need a co-pilot. Can Sadie May reach the peddles? If not, lay a brick on the gas peddle and let her stand on the drivers seat and steer. Yeah, right.Dizzy-Dickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14150939928800538404noreply@blogger.com
