Holy cows Billy Bob

Hey!!! Old Billy Bob go'n fish'n for a week tomorrow morning. Gonna catch me a big old bass bout 12 pounds.

Vacation with kids and grandkids going smooth. Get on my nerves with all their silly questions, but that what grandpas are for.

Got the "that jeep" all fix up with the lift kit took off. Makes a funny sound, but I rekon I can put up with sounds.

Rebuild my sons boat motor so's we could catch a fish and run around the lake. Sat on my brand spank'n new fish pole....broke it right in half. Told Walmart a big fish done it. Got me a brand spank'n new fish pole.

I been feel'n really good for the last three four weeks. Must of been something I et. Family been feed'n me real good. Breakfast, lunch and dinner almost every day. Boy howdy, old Billy Bob ain't had to cook.

Still have another month in Ga. before I head back to the blazing hot desert. Some days I can hardly wait and other days I dread the thought. Rekon it time I start look'n for a new home base.

Over 'n out....10-4 good buddys and all that stuff.

  1. Well geehosafat Billy Bob you need to start going to church on Sunday morning and that means Sunday School to.

And I bet before that month is up some little ole southern belle will be inviting you to park your MH in her yard any time you want.

Now I know that you can fix them broke OB moters, but I bet you can fix those broken hearts also.

Sounds like you have found a good summer time hangout, it's got to be better than Demmings.

  3. Hi ya River....missed ya. If I can't handle a bunch of grandkids hang'n on me, how you expect me to talk care of an old broken heated southern gal? I like the idea though.

Todays post was a cut and paste to a post I made on an old folks forum called, "Toothless and Look'n". Got me a hottie work'n!!!

  4. Did you say "12 pound bass". Dang, BB, I ain't seen a picture of it yet. Maybe next week, right?

One thing a fisherman is, is optimistic. I mean, would you go fishing if you didn't expect to catch one?

  5. Dizzy, that's why it's called fishing and not called catching.

  8. Now Ben, you should have put a ruler or something in the picture for reference. It could be 22 inches long or 2" long. Can't tell (grin).

  9. Hay Ben, down this way we would use that as bait (grin). All kidding aside, it is a nice fish. Did it go over 10 pounds?

My son invited some gal and her son over to fish my swamp. That dang kid caught a huge bass out of there that measured 22". After he pulled that one out the water level dropped 2" or more. . . and to make it worse, they took it home and ate it!!! I got no pictrue and they got no mount.

  15. Are you back yet? Is the big bass you caught too heavy to carry and you had to throw it out to get up the last big hill? Hope you have a picture of it.

Had my fingers on the wrong keys again. Sorry, had to delete the last comment.
