Back to normal....only 3 days worth

Boy howdy, you just don't know how good it feels to be sit'n here all by myself sip'n a cup and think'n. No interruptions, no size 15 feets tramp'n dirt on my new floors, no dogs run'n in an' out....and best of all, no silly questions to answer from 8am till 10pm. "Now what ya gonna do Billy Bob"?

With all the work go'n on with "Sally da house", it's been hard for me to make interesting blog posts. Not many people find construction an interesting subject. Women have no interest at all.....they want flowers an' stuff like that. I could go out in the garden an' take a pic of a cucumber. Or some little maters.

Ok, I'm in the mood to pull up more carpet in the bedroom. Catch up to ya later on in the day.

Holy crap.....it's 3 oclock pm

See, I tole you I was gonna rip out some carpet in the bedroom.
Oh frit....where is the freak'n padding Billy Bob???? Outside somewhere's I rekon. Now how I gonna get the padding under the glues together floor? I betcha I can figger it out in nuttin flat. Ya wanna watch???

Just for Butterbean!!!

  1. I enjoy your blog no matter what you write about, although I scan pretty quickly over anything technical no matter whose blog I'm reading.

    Howdy BB,
I want to see pictures of the tomato plants, with the little green worms eating the leaves off!!! If you're pulling the old carpet up your back is agonna hurt like Hell tonight!! Then you snivel and fuss for another two or
three days about that instead of talking about fishing or fixing up da house!!
Just go sit out under a shade tree and sip a cup and enjoy life instead of making yourself miserable trying to work!! Sometimes YOU JUST HAVE TO QUIT!!

    1. Howdy Butterbean. Soons as I finish this comment, I'll go take some mater pics just for you.

Tear'n out that carpet was as easy as pie. Cut in little pieces , roll up an' chunk out the door. I would rekon I took me bout 6 sip'n a cup breaks remov'n that carpet. Guess I should have took me another since I forgot to put down the padding before lay'n flooring.

  5. What kind of pepper is that? Looks like maybe an Anaheim or maybe a Big Jim, except it's end is kind of rounded like a jalepeno? Those sure beat the heck out of bland ole bell peppers! Unfortunately (or maybe it's just as well) my husband does all the maintenance/repairs/replacements in our rig so all I am is a sidewalk superintendent ;-)

    1. That are a jalapeƱo. I done ate me up one and they not too bad for growed in Georgia.

Sidewalk superintendents are as important as the person doing the fixes.

  7. Reckon all the maintenance on "Sally da house" make her go down the road any better?

If nothing else, it should make the next fishing trip a lot more enjoyable!

  8. What we are do'n right now wouldn't be considered maintenance. More like rebuilding a dilapidated old miners shack.

When the maintenance begins, I would expect better gas mileage and a safer ride with new tires....buy who knows?

  9. Hey Billy Bob...You are making me happy I don't have a slide-out..But I like seeing what you are doing and glad for you that you have great kids to help...My rig is 24yrs old and my fridge has been whining at me the last trip..$2000. for a new one?? Think I'll go buy a 110 fridge and an inverter..All I really want kept cool is my chocolate milk and my beer....
Have a great holiday weekend...like it's any different when we are tired-re....
