Jeep hunt'n

Boy howdy, what a day.

Yesterday morn'n I put my internet surf'n uniform on and went to the cyber beach. Look'n for a replacement for "that jeep" on Craigslist. Holy crap, there ain't no Jeeps left in the country. Not what I'm look'n for anyhows. And the ones I found are either all used up mechanically or over priced.

You might ask why I am look'n for a Jeep. Well it's like this. They can be towed behind "Sally da house" if'n they are 4x4. Don't want no "little" Jeep. It got to be a full size so's I have room for all the stuff what I carry. You know, the "bubba boat", fish'n gear, camp'n gear....stuff like that.

Then last night I got all depressed bout my search for the perfect toad. Is this really what I want to do? Will it save me some bucks in the long run....probly not? Will I be able to sleep at night know'n how much another Jeep will cost me? Can I fix "that jeep" and be happy? How long will I use it as a toad? Damn....what to do?

  3. Get an enclosed trailer to put all your stuff in. . . . Maybe a motorcycle or even a small vehicle.

  5. Keep it! You're talkin' to a 'keep it specialist'. Went back and read a earlier post, and I'd say you need shocks to start with. Heck,if you bought something else, ultimately you'd have to 'fix' it. Take it down to the local shock fixin' place and I'll betcha that one thing will keep yer teeth in place. Electrical... ...I'd go to Wally's, walk around to the garage and ask one of the mechanics who in that necka-the-woods is a electrical fixer. Those guys love to help you out if you ask them something. If he don't know, he'll ask one of his buddies. Betcha you find a solution there, BB.. Relax, Brother. Everything's gonna be just fine.

  6. I don't know. Do you convert to two thousand dollar deal like that, or have someone re-build the stock system? I'd say shocks, new bushings and let it live.

    1. Shocks were replaced when the lift kit was removed.

Some young stud will have an orgasm to get that thing. I love my Jap pickum up. He got a driveshaft disconnect and a cap over the back. You should SEE all the "stuff" in there I think I need...

  9. If you come across a guy named Javi or Gavi something like that run for the hills or the next used car lot. This guy is bad news and so is the lot he works for.Good luck in your search.
