A second project is planned

On the adventure side, I need to do a Walmart run an' a Home Depot run. Can I do two stores in one day? Hell, I don't know.

I'm get'n pretty turned on bout my new desk, table, cabinet project. Even if it is only on paper. And deeply embedded in my brain. I like projects an' build'n stuff.

This is a before pic. Had to do some clean up before I took it so's ya don't think I'm a slob or something like that. Some that stuff lay'n round is work in progress.

I was sit'n there last night an' I looked at all the stuff that needs to be stowed on shelves....not cabinet tops. I have no shelves. Oh wait a minute, in the hall way, I have this big ol' 4 foots wide closet....with no shelves. In the bed room is another. What if I was to install a bunch of shelves in these closets? *break out pencil an' paper* Yup, that what I'm gonna do. But hall closet first.

I gonna have me soooo much room I don't know what I gonna do. I betcha a dollar I ain't gonna be step'n over stuff no more.

This morn'n was the second morn'n in a row I waked up with a low (bout a 4) pain level. I can deal with that.

"Yo Mama" has been clean'n house so's she will have enough $$$$$$$$$$$ to go on a sea cruise this fall. Not the way I wanted it done, but at least she's clean'n. She's too freak'n short to do a good job on the ceiling, so I tole her to let the ceiling go. I will do that job....or my son Billy next time he shows up.

Speak'n of clean'n.....who knows how to remove day an' night shades in a RV??? Mine are nasty....need a good warsh'n.

Ok, I need to get away from all this clean'n stuff an' make myself ready for the trip to Walmart an' Home Depot. Any energy wasted clean'n is much needed for shop'n an' pick'n up project stuff.

  1. The shades are attached to the valance, locate the screws that are hiding at top of valance behind the shades, take the valance down and clean the shades.
Not sure how you clean then cause ours are metal venetian, easy to clean, spray with awesome and hose then down.

    1. No George, mine are not connected to the valance. I'm think'n they have 16 penny nails hold'n 'em in place.
You got what I want...venetian blinds. Boy howdy, easy to open an' close.

  2. That's what we did in both our motor home and our trailer. We took out the clothes rods and used those adjustable shelf supports to hold up the shelves. We made the shelves far enough apart to hold plastic containers that became "drawers". Worked like a charm. Also, when we bought the motor home, previous owner had glued thin carpet to some shelves that they'd installed. Really helped keep things from slipping and sliding. Nothing like a good project to chase away the blues. Less pain helps, too. Good luck.

  3. It is a scientific fact that the more room you have to store things, the more things you will have to store. You can never have too much storage room.

    1. I was think'n that the more space ya have to store stuff, the more ya buy at Walmart.

I still got a few drawers that have nuttin in 'em. Still have boo=coos of room for more stuff in the basement. I'm think'n I need to make another trip to Walmart.

  4. I agree it's not the best idea to waste energy cleaning. I can find many more productive ways to use my energy. I wish I could afford to have someone clean my house.

  5. My day/night shades were just screwed in. But there were spacers behind the headers that like to run away and hide so get some younger eyes around to watch for them to escape. And don't get fooled that there weren't any on this one, some of them stayed up there a long time before they decided to make a run for it.
