We got work to do...

After yesterdays "needle" doctor follow up on my MRI's, I gotten a further dislike for doctors. Although.....this guy IS professional in what he has learned from "skool". Kind of make me wonder if'n they teach in them doctor schools....if the patient is old, tell 'em "it cain't be fixed".

So where I sit today, time has been wasted. I say wasted 'cause if'n I had seen a surgeon in the first place, I could possibly be scheduled for surgery next week. Or maybe even recover'n from surgery. But....I do at least have a MRI and a appointment with a surgeon to take a "look see".

Speak'n of my surgeon. Google is your best friend. This guy specializes in what is wrong with my back. He does reconstructive surgery what I hope I don't need. Ha....he even gives shots.
Out of bout 20 patient reviews, he is top notch. Calls ya by name, not number. Has compassion. Talks to ya like a friend, not a doctor. Explains everthing an' gives options. His success rate is right up there with the best....a 5. Rating numbers 1 to 5. I suppose I'll wait for another month to see what my remaining life will be like. Ha....sit'n out on "da porch" sip'n up a cup, lookn out across a lake full of big ol' bass fishes.

Robert showed up this morn'n all full of piss an' vinegar...."let's fix stuff". I weren't ready yet, wait'n for that other eye to open an' aspirin to kick in. Damn....it was cold last night. Try 56 degs at "da house".

We gonna tackle the parking brake problem today. Now the problem......how the hell do ya release a auto park'n brake to work on it? Note: A auto parking brake has no hand lever or no foot lever to set the parking brake. It's all done by hydraulics....relays, sensors, high pressure pumps....stuff like that. Wish us luck.

Ok, bout that foot stool thingy I was gonna make. I went out there, fires up the table saw an' I builds me a foot stool. But it don't look nuttin like what I had in mind. But....it will do the job an' it's ugliness I can hide under the desk.....only to be seen at night when I prop my feet up on it. Now if I can only talk "yo mama" into cover'n the foam rubber with some cheap material. Hmmmmm....I got me a idea, the material out the back of that jacket I never wear. Was gonna throw it in the dumpster anyhows.

Now, what the hell am I gonna do for the next two months? I know one thing, I'm gonna miss my yearly appointment with Dr. Frinkansteen in Deming. That's my heart doctor ya know....the one I was gonna fire an' find me a replacement in Corpus Christi, Texas. Ha....I procrastinated didn't I???
Anyhows, come the first of Sept. I'm gonna need another years prescriptions for my heart meds. Had also decided that 2014 was the year I would get that stress test I been put'n off for the last 4 years.

Damn I hope I make it to 2015.

  1. Can't you get a local doctor where you are at now to write you a prescription?

  3. hi sissy yes if you can afford to wait forever medical attention is free and that good . now the older you are the more you will wait because your old not contributing big tax dollars and you close to the end of your life so the canadian government figures why the h**l throw away big money to some one that just going to die soon. the province of quebec is part of french canada.
On June 5, 2014, by a vote of 94 – 22, the Quebec National Assembly passed Bill 52, permitting doctors to administer a lethal injection to end a patient’s life. (June 5, 2014)

    1. "your old not contributing" Of course! This is standard thinking today. I've seen a huge difference in doctors attitude with me over the last eight years - it's like they don't give a big $hip and really they don't UNLESS - Look at the nursing home situation! They just barely keep patients alive for as long as possible - for the "money, honey".

"lethal injection to end a patient’s life." This comes as no surprise. Twenty years ago a friend told me the day was coming that this procedure would be common practice. Turns out his prediction was 100% true! I wonder how he knew this with such conviction.

Well, gotta get this overpopulation decreased somehow. Right? This is one solution. Then there are the WARS that are decimating the young virile soldiers. Dead they can't get babies galore that would jack up the numbers. Then we have the abortion solution to help keep the numbers low. Then there are all the new GERMS deliberately introduced into the crowds, ALSO orchestrated to knock out some more of the useless among the almost 8 billion people on the planet. Believe me, there is a perfected method in 'their' madness.
Not many people realize or certainly don't believe that we are all just brainwashed slaves and guinea pigs. Lemmings!

Do you seriously believe that the US deserves a blessing? I don't! Count us all guilty as hell for decisions made by the leaders. The bas- turds are not solving problems, only creating complete chaos worldwide - if you don't realize this fact. Begin to dig, then dig deeper AND turn off that television and burn the newspapers! No truth either place. Okay, I'm off my stump now. They are knocking at my door.

  5. I don't plan to ever take another stress test in my life. They make your heart pound - I can damn near climb up a mountain and my heart is fine, but a stress test makes me think I don't have long to live. If ya gotta wait around to see the surgeon, maybe you can google a heart doctor with a 5 rating near you now.

    1. Speeding your heart rate up is the point for a stress test, Gypsy. My pulse reached 135 vs (78 normal rate) when working out at a gym. My trainer/nephew and an RN , informed me this was perfect for my age then but yes it was scary but necessary IF I intended to build my health at that time (I succeeded gloriously). He also worked in the hospital's heart rehabilitation unit for two years. Today their Heart Hospital gets all heart patients from all over the state.

My brother, after heart surgery, had a summer at rehab and he felt like a million bucks; he looked it too. If only he'd continued the regime :( Me too :(

  6. You have plenty of time to research a good heart doctor in your area while you are sitting around waiting.

  7. Call your Dr. Frinkansteen in Deming and tell him that your in GA about to have back surgery and can not make the annual appointment. You need to have the prescription renewed. He will either do it or tell you what you need to do. Maybe recommend a doctor in GA for you to go see.

You have put off looking for a new doctor this long no need to start now. But then again maybe Robert will do it for you, he was the one that got search for the back doctor started. Yah, let Robert do it.
