Wrong kind of PVC pipe

Ok, let's try this one more time. I didn't do too well yesterday when I corrected a couple followers. Ha....I still ain't learnt to talk English right yet. Sorry guys.

Yesterday weren't a very good day. Ya see, me an' Mack jump in the "billy jeep" an' heads for town. When we got to town, I'm slap lost....done go the wrong way. Mack ain't no help, he's lost too. We finally get all straighten out an' pull into Home Depot. We gonna buy us a 3 inch piece of PVC pipe. "Nope, no ya ain't Billy Bob". All they got is PVC DWV pipe. DWV is for drain, waste an' vent. We ain't build'n no dad gum drain or nuttin like that ya know. Went off to Lowes. Same damn story. Ain't go nuttin but DWV. Long story short, we ain't got no high pressure PVC pipe. Hmmmmm.....can pvc pipe made out of foam hurt ya if'n it blows up? An' who's idea was it to make pipe out of foam anyhows??? See what ya can find Ed......I need help here.

As requested, Sadie Mae is do'n fine. Damn dog don't do nuttin but get under my feet an' bark at the grandkids. Then she lays on her back an' says...."scratch my belly". Billy give her a bath the other day an' attempted to cut her hair. More work for the old Billy Bob to try to fix it. But not today.

Been have'n me some more them depressing thoughts bout the rest of my life. I don't like think'n bout that kind of stuff.....but somebody gotta do it. It ain't really so much bout this winter, but bout the rest my life in general. I just cain't get excitis bout nuttin.....summer or winter. I got me a whole bucket full of "dreads". Have ya ever dreaded driv'n down the road a piece? But it goes further than that. Camp site set ups. Get'n gas. Dump'n tanks. Look'n for my damn dog. Well, with Sadie Mae, that ain't a problem. All I gotta do is look under my camp chair.....there she are.

Now....if'n I had me some excit'n places to go, it would be a different story. Well (for Dizzy Dick), if'n I could do something other than sit on my ass, maybe I could get a little bit excitis. I don't do that no more. Only thing what goes through my mind is ..."you gonna work yer ass off Billy Bob".

I'm sit'n here look'n at them pieces of plexiglass. An' them new "modified" hinges. I can do that I betcha a dollar. For ya bet'n people, don't bet too much. Shoot, I may decide to take a nap.

Speak'n of nap. Last night I ate me up the other half of my Subway sammich....with ranch dress'n on it. Yum boy howdy. An a bowl of cucumber, onion an' maters....with ranch dress'n on it. Yum boy howdy. Then I got sleepy. Not for just a couple minutes, but a couple hours. That's why I was still wide awake at 2am this morn'n. I either gotta quit eat'n or I gotta quit nap'n. How ya quit nap'n when you're asleep? Figger that one out.....

Ok, nuttin excit'n go'n on. It's already afternoon an' I ain't done a damn thing. Let me see what I can do bout that.

Laters...

  1. Well BB as usual we are on opposite sides of the thinking. I am antsy as all get out to get back to the Del Rio area desert for some great Mexican food, the fishing bridge and camping without a thousand folks within fifty feet of your rig. With the 454 road access you can drive to within 30 feet of decent fishing territory on the main lake. BUT the temps have to come down a lot before I head back there.

  3. well B.B. when you get your back fixed where ever in the usa or mexico with shadowmoss i am sure you'll get your old excitement for life and fun back again . does your camera have video capacity ?
for $29 at your favorite store (wm) i bought a knew smart phone with a 5 pexil front camera and 2 pexil back camera it does do video allso . it is called alcatel one touch envole if you buy it from walmart online that phone is $150 on sale for $99 but in the store it's only $29 i bought it with a nation wide unlimited talk / text for $24 per month (no contract) month to month .for $10 more ($34) i can get unlimited data (internet) with talk / text .the only sad thing is that the plan (family moble using t-moble's towers) do not support wifi hot spot ,meaning you can not broadcast wifi to your own computer .you should check it out because i want to see a video of your supper dupper spud gun in action.

  4. OK Billy Bob here is what I found. I know nothing about making a spud gun but what I found on the Web is that most of them are built using Schedule 40 PVC.

    I then found this:

Schedule 40 pipe is designed for high-pressure applications. It is used for water supply lines or lines running from the street utility meter to your house. Different pipe diameters have different pressures. 3" Schedule 40 has a rated Minimum Bust Pressure of 840psi which the Web builders I found are using.

Schedule 80 pipe is a heavy-duty version of Schedule 40, because it has a thicker pipe wall. It is designed for high-stress applications, such as running under a driveway or street. Also, the operating pressures are higher than for Schedule 40. 3" Schedule 80 has a rated Minimum Bust Pressure of 1200psi which would be added protection against it blowing up.

There is also a Schedule 120 PVC but you probably need to go to some special plumbing supply store to find any or order online. It does not seem like it would be necessary in any case.

Foam core pipe is a double-walled PVC pipe with a polymer foam injected between the hard plastic PVC walls. The uses of foam core PVC pipe are limited as a result of its light weight. The pipe cannot be used in high-pressure situations because of risk of bursting. You don't want this as you have already said nor do you want DWV pipe which you also said.

  5. hi again mr.B.B. why are you using cheap plastic or foam pipes ? why not use real steal pipes like in the olden days ,after all you do not want mack to blow him self up ? mack's daddy might not like the hospital bills.

  6. hi again mr. B.B. i was looking at the news broadcast in winnipeg canada , politicians want to try to get the voting age reduced to 16 years old from 18 years old . there is a poll on that subject, results is 90% do not approve . what do you think ? good idea or no ?

    1. Politicians are getting very frantic, sounds like to me. 16! Ridiculous. Hmmph. They keep on with that kind of thinking, in the future they may have 6 year olds eligible. What does all this ridiculousness boil down to? MONEY. I've yet to meet a 16 yr old with anything on his/her mind but a couple of things, neither which is politics.

    2. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/mayoral-candidates-want-to-sell-golf-courses-and-lower-voting-age-1.2718083

According to the article above, this proposal is only local and put forth by the one mayoral candidate, not 'candidates' as headline reads. His proposal to sell the golf courses is for purpose to raise money for road repairs. Don't we all already know about political candidates wispy ideas when they are out stumping? 'Wispy' as in their promises soon blow away like fog in the morning sun.

Also, within the Search Engine page, it is stated that 16yr olds now vote in Argentina, Brazil and Cuba.

So, nothing for us to be concerned about here in the States. Yet!

Also, my thought is that Canadian 16 year olds possibly are mature enough to cast their vote (I know of one or three), unlike the US 16 yr. olds I have encountered in my life.

Yet, once a thought / idea is released, it can soon fly/expand/spread, grow tremendously.

Gosh, I sure hope no political candidate here in the States reads and grabs hold of this idea.

  7. With my back pain and impending surgery, I, too, get really discouraged. I understand. At least you have family for comfort. My chickens are not much on the friendly side like your dog. They just want food. Otherwise, they are off to scratch in the grass.

What are they promising 16-yr-olds to get them to vote their way?

    1. Chickens? I love chickens. They are good for your soul, just sit and watch them. Singing, scratching,, calling the hens, finding a good find.
