Monday??? If you say so......

Today I think I am gonna just lay back an' watch what other people do. You know, read a bunch of blogs.

I rekon all ya gotta do to see who cares bout you, is to get sick. Friendships dwindle. Ya don't hear from them no more. People are like that ya know. Had a guy drop by the boat (S/V Coyote) one day for a chat....he says, "how ya do'n"? Well, since he asked, I commenced to explain to him why I had them cuts an' bruises on me.....why I was hurt'n. I fell from the mast into a pile of "fix it" stuff lay'n on deck. In just a couple minutes he says to me...."well I gotta go, Margaret is wait'n in the car". He jumped on his bicycle an' went fish'n....never see him again.

Is Billy Bob's Adventures come to a end? I cain't answer that this morn'n. The only things I have to talk bout lately is "pain" an' "fix'n stuff". Lay'n back there in the back my head, cling'n on to my feeble mind, is a few adventures I would like to once again perform. But that's what they are do'n, just lay'n there....."do'n nuttin". It's a sad day.

No progress with the doctors was made last week. It was more of family get together. Laugh'n, sip'n up a cup, talk'n an' a few much needed hugs. It's been a while ya know. "Where the hell is my camera"???

Now, bout that couch. That sucker is in dire need of attention. Remember a while back when I said I wanted comfort? Well that couch ain't got no comfort at all. To replace it with a top of the line, comfortable RV couch, is gonna cost me right at $1400....includ'n shipping (Google ya know). A regular household couch will require modification an' still not maybe fit right. To replace with a recliner, as suggested, I thought bout that too. I went to a furniture store an' sit in some them recliners. I was NOT at all comfortable sit'n in that blamed thing. So.....couch repair is top of the list of things to do.

Ok....that's all folks. Have ya a nice day.

  1. Maybe a nice fat cusion would solve the issue, if'n you can find an exact/ or near size In fact, Walmart had them yesterday. Bought me self a sunblocker, an umbrella. Purty thing. That sunshine is knocking me out practically; so brilliant.

Hang loose, BB, and appreciate all the good. Being busy like a "cat with nine behinds" these days. Plants, plants and more plants to plant. Trees, bushes and maters, stuff such as that. My oh me, I'm tired ragged. and still that grass is hinting at me. Oh, boy, you are one lucky man! Compared to my heavy yolk this summer.

  2. I personally still enjoy your blog. Fixing things is still interesting even if you don't think so. Since I've only been in rv's a few times, I certainly don't have a solution for the couch, but I'm sure YOU will find one.

  3. First blog I check every morning..because you make me laugh.Whatever you talk about is what you put your spin on and no one spins stories about life any better! you throw in things we all have to deal with as we get older. We all have a list of things that need fixin',worry about how much all this repairing is going to cost and somehow hearing you talk about your pains in the morning takes our mind to the concern for you and let's us be grateful for our own health. There are just some people put on the earth to make us smile. You can talk about cat puppies, goats.Billy Bob stew, washing windows or going to WalMart and be the most entertaining thing on the blogs.Find a way to get to a golf course before you get too depressed to post because we need your outlook on life...I feel pretty much the same way about Mark Twain. 6. Yup...you are a hoot and a half... In your blog or in person! We love ya, BillyBob!

We got rid of our awful RV couch...drove right to goodwill and had then unload it as a donation. (the arms came off to get through the RV door. Bought a lazy boy wall hugging double recliner $800... The Lazyboy furniture the backs come off and make it really easy to through RV doors! Lazy boy makes couches too...but the loveseat size works good for us. I can even nap on an angle with both footrest upright and I am bigger than you! Perhaps you wanna check out lazy boy brand at regular furniture stores?
