Well I really don't care if'n ya don't want to hear bout fish'n or not. I'm go'n fish'n. I'm gonna blow the "bubba boat" slap up and cruise all over the lake. So what ya got to say bout that...huh???
It's a beautiful morn'n here at Falcon Lake. Not a cloud in the skys. Not even the puff of a breeze. But let me tell ya bout last night. It were miserable try'n to go to sleep in a oven of a motorhome with no air conditioning. My bed room has one little tiny window an' that's it....no ventilation. After an hour of toss'n an' turn'n, I gets up and heads for the couch where theres a nice cooling breeze blow'n cross my body. Bout 3am I wakes up with goose bumps all over the place....what the hell?
Built me up a big ol' pot this morn'n think'n Barney would share a cup with me. He had green tee or some other sissy stuff in his cup. This stuff I brewed up would have make the hair stand up on his head....that what it would'a done.
We pretty much decided to spend our last week at the State Park where they serve up all the electric you can eat on the "early bird special" of $96 with free access to the bass fish'n hole. Too bad ol' Dizzy Dick couldn't be here to "show" me and Barney how to fish. But after yesterday, I'm think'n old Barney don't need no teach'n. Skunk me in two casts without even try'n. Go on over to his blog for a couple nice pics.

Ok.....time to roll....things to do....fishes to catch.

1pm
Here I are back from another successful fish'n trip. Just one fish is a success....right?
By the time I got "bubba" all blowed up and loaded, the wind picked up. I says...."to hell with it, I'm go'n fish'n". What was a good choice. Only catched up one fish..............
See there, I tole ya so.
I comes back home and see Barney pull'n out. I says, "where the hells are you go'n"? State Park where there's electricity. Be right behinds ya Barney, it hot in "da house".
Dag nab boat is full of water. I tried relocating the battery in a new spot....to save using 2 wire ties to hold it in it's normal location. Well, the little extra weight right over the self bail'n hooomajig whatsamacallit cause me to fill up the "bubba boat" with bout a hunnert gallon lake water. Wondered why my butt was get'n wet.
I'm done...out of here....laters.
As long as you would tell me where to cast like you did for Barney, I sure could out fish you (grin). Don't you have a generator for AC on hot nights or are you not allowed to run one at night? I am an oxygen at night and when no power is available, I need to run the gen-set.
ReplyDeleteAt $3.79 for gasoline per hour (or close to that), I could not afford to run my generator all night. There are no restrictions at the County Park, but common RV courtesy is 10pm to 6am quiet time.
DeleteThe State Park is only 4 miles down the road a piece with all the electricity you could ever need or use.
Out fish the Billy Bob???? Who you think you talk'n to? I'm a fish'n fool ya know.
Is that bubba boat leaking or do u deflate it? Thot u had it blown up already.
ReplyDeleteDo u ever eat the fish u catch?
Not leaking Trouble. Have to deflate it to fit in "that jeep" when I goes back to "da house". Only take 4 or 5 mins to blow up.
DeleteI agree! One fish does qualify for a success! Nice looking fish, it is!
ReplyDeleteWell yeah Jim, don't make no matter what size it is neither.
DeleteThat is a fine looking fish! Good going, BB.
ReplyDeleteYou are just having too much fun!
ReplyDeleteThat what I are supposed to do....have fun. One of my favorite fun things to do is "go fish'n". Don't make me no matter if'n I catches one, but that add to the fun bout 100%.
DeleteBB you better get to some place with hookups cause that rain storm that washed out the Nascar race is headed your way, if you set a trap in your camp site you'll catch all the fish you want from your front door. Started raining here about 2:00 now it's pouring.
ReplyDeleteI just love it when it rains, I made a big pot of stew and I have the bread machine going for fresh garlic bread.
There you go BB, congratulations. I had faith in you all along, no matter what others were saying (grin).
ReplyDeleteYeah!!! You finally got your fish :)
