Moving day....

Hmmmmm, let's take another look at Google Chrome. On suggestion from one my many favorite followers, I have decided to give it a try for a short, or long term trial. I'll tell ya one thing right now....that sucker is fast. Being that I'm used to a whole glob of buttons on a browser to click on, Chrome just don't "look" like no browser. Oh, did I mention it's fast.

I suppose I need to apologize for some of the comments I receive. As the say'n goes...."there's one in every bushel of apples"....or something like that. Ya see, this person in question had made a nasty comment on one of the blogs I follow and I was dumb enough to call him on his "style" of posting comments. That was a mistake. Now he is out to destroy Billy Bob's Place. So....I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

Today is "rolling" day. Gonna hook up "that jeep" to the back of "Sally da house" an' move on down the road a piece...right bout 3 mile. I gonna be boondock'n in the County Community Park....or what ever they call it. Oh, did I mention that it's free???  But the good news is, Minnesota Mike is camped down there with his boat an' he loves to go out fish'n. And not only is Mike camped there....with his boat, there is another feller down there with a brand spank'n new 21 foots bass boat just beg'n for somebody to go fish'n. I'm think'n I can fill his needs in a heartbeat. Gonna catch me up a great big ol' 14 pounds bass....yeeee ha I betcha.

I keep get'n asked where I gonna go to next and that brings up the old question...."what ya gonna do now Billy Bob"? I think everybody ask themselves that same question from time to time....when they ain't got nuttin to do ya know. I have to speak for the retired folks here, not you folks that still have a day job an' all that stuff. Bout all I can say is it ain't easy to be retired. Ya sleep all day if'n ya want to, live in a RV, got a pocket full of "gangle" change an' no where's in particular to go. Sometimes it get down right boring liv'n like this.

Ok....hook 'em up Billy Bob. See ya down the road a piece.

10:30 am....
Well shoot, there weren't nuttin to that move. Emptied the "nasty water" tanks, got a full tank of fresh water, took trash to the dumpster an' the solar panels are do'n a purty good job. Ya can't beat that with a stik.
Oh...and just in case MsB want to know, the dishes is all washed an' put away.
This gonna be Camp Billy Bob for my duration at Falcon Lake.

  1. Can you run the generator all night at boon docking areas? I have to run my oxygen machine at night and it needs 120 volt ac.

  2. Dizzy, with my solar panels and inverter, I don't have to run my generator except for brew'n up a pot in the morning. I have enough battery amp hours to run 12.5 amps for 10 hours at 50% capacity. That what ya call a "boondock'n sum-a-gum".

12.5 amps of AC or DC? It would take a hell of a lot of batteries to make that much AC, I think more than you can put in a motor home.

But anyone on oxygen shouldn't be trying to boondocks it anyway unless they have lots of money for gas for a generator.

It would be cheaper to go to an old fucks home.
