Not a good day at Billy Bob's house

Really ain't no use try'n to write something today. I hurt like hell an' I'm pissed. Best I just keep my mouth shut until this pain passes.
**************************************************************************

Ok, took me a aspirin....I feel a little bit on the better side.

This trip to Georgia has put a hurt'n on me in more ways than just my back. My mind is sooo screwed up I don't even want to get up in the morn'n. I want to take me loooong naps. I don't even want to think. Today is one of them days. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

It's rather hard to think on the positive side when nuttin is go'n to plan. Yeah I know, all this is necessary to make sure I'm fit enough an' all that, but....this ain't what I was expect'n. I'm think'n I have every right in the world to bitch an' moan....maybe even whine a little bit. So this is what ya get today.....bitch'n, moan'n an' a little whin'n.

On a positive side.......Thursday is my "stress test" day. This should make Dr. Fronkerstine over there in Deming happy. He's been after me for the last 4 years to have a stress test. I'm think'n I'll pass with fly'n colors. That will be one more scratched off'n the long list of tests an' appointments.

  1. Get all the tests out of the way, get the results and then hit the road. You need a change in scenery and then try and stay away from doctors. Going to a doctor just stresses a person out and makes the doctors richer. Hope you get feeling better real soon.

    1. So, what yer tell'n me Dizzy is to go through all these tests an' NOT have my back surgery??? That's why I'm in Georgia ya know.

    2. That decision is up to you. But I would make dang sure it was needed before going through all that and what the chances of a complete recovery back to your old self are. Are there any alternatives, like a brace or something? What ever you do, I am rooting for ya.

  2. A little ray of sunshine for you: It's said misery loves company, so factor that in when you are hurting; you have much company. There are many, many thousands of sufferers out here, in the same or worse condition than you are in, some flat out immobile, worse pain like untreated cancer and have not one cent for medical help. Then there are those in the world with empty bellies, a very bad kind of pain. The broader picture may help you to minimize your personal circumstances. If you request it, your doctors are allowed to relieve your pain with something stronger, as a temporary measure, even though it may force you to stay safely seated. Your call, Billy Bob.

  4. Billy Bob at least you can lay down to take a nap. My poor mother can not lay down she has to sleep in a recliner and I have to recline her very very slowly.

The MRI's were sheer torture and the pain was excruciating as she had to be laid flat on her back...not to mention the pain she had to go through when we had to get her up.

Things could be worst, you are very fortunate to still be able to do for yourself.

  5. Still sending hugs. Sometimes we just have to let down the happy face and say damnit! I'm pissed, I hurt, etc. and get it out of our systems. I understand.
