Where is Billy Bob?

I don't know if that old rascal Billy Bob will ever return or not. I know I sure do miss talk'n excit'n funny stuff to him every day. This last year has took so much out of him, I'm think'n he, as we all knowed him, may never return.

I got to be totally serious with all of ya this morn'n....."this shit sucks". I don't know any other way to put it. I'm at a point where I don't want to write anything no more. I don't want to do nuttin. I just don't give a fly'n flip. The "aches an' pains" writ'n is no longer a good subject. Who wants to hear that kind of stuff every day? There's absolutely nuttin excit'n happen'n in my life. I've put all the Billy Bob projects on hold, so there ain't nuttin to write about there. I can't go to the golf course for a good round of golf ball swak'n....an' then write bout it. All these dad gum doctor appointments has got me all depressed an' pissed off. Winter is right around the corner....an' I'm "stuck in Georgia". That means I'm gonna freeze my ass off. My freak'n brain is all tied up in knots that even a seasoned sailor would never figger out. Grrrrrrrrrr is all I can say.

I've tried soooo hard in the past to make Billy Bob's Place a interesting, funny an' adventurous blog. But it seems those days are behind me at the present time. Today, those times seem very slim that they will return. Yeah, I'm down in the dumps, I need therapy....somebody call an' make me another freak'n appointment. Medicare should cover it.

I do hope that those that been follow'n my blog all these years will continue to hang in there with me. For all the new comers, check back with me from time to time. Ya never know what you might find.

So, in the mean time, I will try my derndest to post something every day. Who knows? Maybe Billy Bob will make another grand entrance. Knock yer socks off with some off the wall silly stuff.

  1. Dear Billy Bob. One worry you can take off your list is that one about whether your followers are gonna stick with you. I check every single morning to see what's going on with you. Doesn't matter what you say! What matters is that you say something. I am glad you do your posting in the morning----come to think of it, it's getting to be more like afternoon?!---
Hopefully things will start to look up pretty soon. Meanwhile, how 'bout YOU stay with us??? We can hope for a mild winter. Wouldn't be the first strange weather lately!

  4. Well hell Billy Bob.You have become part of all of our families. We just want to be included in the good and bad days alike. You don't have to entertain us.We actually want to know if you are in pain.We all would like to be able to wish it away.but since that is not possible we want to know that some days you feel like messin'with the spud gun or build a cabinet. We all want your medical treatment to go smoothly and for you to enjoy life. When you feel like sharing stuff I think your followers all get a kick out of hearing about some of the stupid shit you used to do when you were younger. You have to admit you were good at it and it is always fun to read your stories. Vada in Tx.I check for your posting first and you always say something to make me smile.Get used to it,people really do care about you.

  6. Good news is Medicare pays for talk therapy as well as drug therapy. Now if I could just get my own appointment made... In the meantime I'm still here and so are you so we might as well talk even if we aren't doing much else.

  10. Ditto to Vadam - plus we've come this far with your aches and pains, and all want to hear the outcome. You can't just leave us hanging! Your blogging friends-and-family all give a tinker's darn what you're going thru, and just wnat to hear from you.
What would you think if Hermit and Dizzy just quit bloggin, and you never heard from Gypsy or Shadowmoss or Linda Sand any more? Get the picture? And those of us who don't post often are still here, the silent majority, and will be for a long time..... Keep on keeping on, Billy Bob. We're with ya...

In my opinion it is just as well that those days are behind you. You don't need to turn writing a blog posting into WORK. You ARE leading an adventurous life. Your getting older and no one does that without some adventures. You have never had back surgery before and neither have I. That is one hell of an adventure and I'm as interested in hearing about your experience and adventure doing that as I was laughing about what you did as an adventurous child. What you write does NOT have to be funny to be interesting. Life is funny part of the time and sad a good part of the time but it is always an adventure. Just keep writing about LIFE and you will do just fine!

That's all I got to say about that.

  12. Got a call yesterday from my son's surgeon's office, asking if he could be there today. Of course i said YESSS. They had had a cancellation. So he's 3 weeks early, sooo good, sooner the better. I think he will find out the surgery date today.
