Ain't no wind.....yee haaa!!!

Yee ha, boy howdy or what ever ya want to call it, there ain't no wind blow'n out there. Now this is the first day in over a couple weeks that the wind ain't been blow'n a gale. Still a little nippy out there (60*) but the old Billy Bob can handle that. Maybe not soak'n wet or neekit, but fully clothed and dry.

Took the scissors to Sadie Mae yesterday. Cut all that long hair slap off....although she look kind of funny now. Ya ever try to "groom" a dog with a pair of dollar scissors? She all hacked up. But what the hell, she don't care. Crazy dog.

Ain't gonna write no stories today. Gotta go make one first. The plan is to go to the lake and catch me up a 14 pounds bass fish in the "bubba boat". That should make a good humorous story. Ya gotta paint yerself a good mental picture of old Billy Bob in a pair of chest waders. Then think of a little 10 foots blow up fish'n boat packed full of fish'n stuff. Put the two together and something funny bound to happen.
God I hope I don't sink an' drown. That would be the pits.

Ok....got things to do....pack up a picnic lunch and enough smokes to last a couple days if I get stranded on some island somewheres. Ya might wanna check back laters and see if'n I made it back alive.

3+ pm.....
"Yeah boy howdy Billy Bob, you is the fisherman".
This will be very short. Gotta have something to write bout tomorrow morn'n before I head back to the lake an' catch me up another bunch of bass fish. Boated 4, all under 14 pound....something like 1 1/2 to 3 pounds. Lost 3 in da bushes...."shak'n 'em up here boss"....Mr. Cool Hand Luke.
And just to keep ya in suspense....that was the biggest bass fish I ever did see in my life.
Total fish on....8.

The "bubba Boat" performed well....if perform'n well is in circles. Even the slightest breeze would blow me plumb off course.....right up in the bushes. That ain't where I wanna be.

  3. You keep talking about a 14 pound bass. If you catch up a 15 pounder, you will have to it back since it is over your 14 lb, bass weight limit.

  4. Don't drown, please. All that fish and gear and you in that boat could make it a little tipsy.

    1. MsB, there is a slight possibility that there is a hole in my waders. And Boy Howdy, come this close to put'n a hook in the "bubba boat".

  7. If the wind blows you into the bushes, you might re-catch those fish you lost to the bushes!
