Feel'n like crap...

Weather has been absolutely beautiful. Couldn't ask for anything better.

The old Billy Bob is wore slap out from all the research on the internet look'n for a reliable vehicle to tow behind "da house". I were think'n it was gonna be easy. Whoa, was I ever wrong. The search has been narrowed down to either a standard shift Ford Ranger or a Jeep Cherokee. Not a Grand Cherokee...just Cherokee.

Here what I found so far. Just outside of Austin is a beautiful 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport,

and then up by Dizzy Dicks house in Conroe is this 1999 Ford Ranger XLT.
Since nephew Joseph is out of town on a job, I ain't got no way to go inspect them.

News flash....just in. 2000 Mazda single cab 4cyl 5 speed standard shift pick'em up in Corpus Christi.
May just have to go take a look see this one.

On the other side of the coin, old Billy Bob been feel'n like crap.

  1. My 2 cents, I'd go with the ford extended cab for convenience of access to secure area and bed that can be left open or covered and secure also. more choices.
" feeling like crap" might change with purchase and ease of mind.

  2. I like both the Jeep and the Ford, but would probably pick the Ford just because I need a pickup truck right now and won't ever be able to afford another one.

All that hell raisin' ya did over the holidays probably led you to this little slump. You'll be over it in no time.

  3. I would go with anything but another Jeep. We have one & its a piece of junk. Just another money pit.

  5. I do have a 1999 Ranger Flareside XLT. It's all manual - shift, windows, mirrors. It has been a reliable ride as compared to some Ranger years. I like that it's all manual. 147k and kicking.

  6. Ok, what the heck did you eat this time? You always seem to get sick after you over indulge on some food you ate or that you prepared...

Hope you get to feeling better.

  7. I got a thunk for ya:
How many miles did you even put on "That Jeep" in the last 12 months?

Is it worth it to buy another if you divide the cost of the new one by the number of miles you put on?

    Hmmmmmmmm?
